Biography

Katherine is a senior lecturer who teaches in multi-disciplinary Masters, Professional doctorate and PhD programmes. Her subject expertise is evaluation, research methodologies, and diversity. Katherine’s research is on nursing and health service arrangements to increase access for underserved populations and to improve healthcare experiences and health outcomes for diverse or special population groups. The main settings for this research are the community, primary health care and the emergency department. She is also involved in evaluations on postgraduate education for nurses. Katherine has 41 peer reviewed publications and has supervised 75 students for their Masters or PhD.
